“It is not length of life, but depth of life.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
For most people, the “it'” in having it all includes love, family, friends, money, career, possessions and security.
It’s basic human nature to want more. Unfortunately, we often forget to pat ourselves on the back and recognize that we have already hit quite a few milestones along the way.
One of the techniques I want you to use on your journey is to identify where you are and what you’ve already achieved, as well as how to figure out your own roadmap to having ”it.”
A concept of the rhythms of life, which I call Ego-RHYTHM™, is easy-to-understand. You can apply it to your daily life so that you can begin to change one thing today that will bring you one step closer to the life you want to live.
Before we get to creating your want-it-all list, I want to cover what these postings will not yet teach you. I won’t tell you which of the many support methods to use to help you through the rough patches. I developed ego-RHYTHM™ as a concept that leads to having everything you want. I’ll explore it later, down the line. But first, I want you to get to a point where you’ve gotten to know KARL™ really well, and are entirely comfortable relying on him.
I realize that KARL™, for all of his wonderful benefits, might not be enough to help you to move through all of the roadblocks, obstacles, financial difficulties, and physical issues you are bound to encounter along your journey. You might want to explore the many other methods offered by practitioners and luminaries that are available to you as handy tools. You will need them in your toughest moments; those periods of doubt when you need something to hold on to that can help you get through the next rough patch.
There is so much ancient wisdom and new ideas available to us that everyone can find something that will help her get started. There are also a wealth of spiritual concepts and ideas to help you stay motivated.
To this day, I speak to my wonderful astrologer, Anne Windsor, every six months. I keep Marianne Williamson’s Illuminata prayer book close to my bed. refer to Betty Bethard’s The Dream Book to help me understand my dreams. I find that meditation helps me at times, but that I don’t enjoy yoga all that much. I’d rather go to the gym. Acupuncture works for me only at certain junctures; especially when I need to reboot my system. Massages are a must for my pinched nerve, and there is always a book that can help me gain an understanding for a particular issue I am dealing with.
Are there methods that you already use to jumpstart your spiritual or emotional well-being? They may be among those I’ve listed, or you may have found your own. Tell me about them – I’m deeply interested in your path, your choices, and your progress. Your journey is our journey. Thank you so much for sharing!
