It’s okay to be first.” ~ Condoleezza Rice

I’ve been talking about two main things these past few months that can really help you: one, a friend (even an imaginary friend) whose “personality” you can rely on to bring you back to the present. The other, a way of keeping track of the cycles in your life. I’d like to review them with you once more.

You have an ever-present companion, whom I’ve named KARL™. When you get overwhelmed by something you can silently bring yourself into the present by applying the four actions that make up his “character”: Know, Accept, Relax, Live. In addition to KARL™, you’ve given some thought to what you want and you’ve written a want-it-all list.

Ego-RHYTHM™ is the key to knowing and accepting who and where you are today. This concept will help you find peace within yourself and show you how to be more present in your own life. You’ve probably heard before that the only thing that matters is the now. You’ve got a few more tools available to help you actually be more present, to help you avoid being discouraged by the things you haven’t yet accomplished. You did the best with what you knew at that time.

We’ll have a pragmatic look at what is. I designed ego-RHYTHM™ so that everything you’ve ever done make sense, has a purpose and falls into place. All you’ve done, all you’ve lived through, fits in a particular category and amounts to something – your life. No more need you be discouraged or impatient. By now, you even have proof in writing right in front of you. Let the knowledge that you have accomplished a great many things already allow you to accept your current life completely. Sometimes you might think you have wasted our time with a person, in a job, or with a situation. Through the gentle concept of ego-RHYTHM™, you’re encouraged simply to acknowledge that everything comes over time and in due time.

You have spent a good amount of time reviewing the past and examining the present. These two elements are important to determine your starting point (today) to make your dreams a reality. In the next few posts, we’ll review the attitudes and mindsets you must possess so that you can get on the right track to getting what you want.

In the meantime, tell me our thoughts on these two elements, KARL™ and ego-RHYTHM™. Have you identified areas in your life where they’ve helped you? I’d love to know! Thanks so much for sharing.
