Let’s talk about something that makes most people cringe: business plans.
Be honest—what do you think of when you hear the phrase “write your business plan”?
Spreadsheets? PowerPoints? A six-month project. Projections. 60-100 pages filled with buzzwords and 5-year projections that have little relevance in real life?
Most people roll their eyes. Some freeze. Most just ignore it.
I get it. Traditional business plans are overwhelming. I have written one. And mine got funded, it took me six months. I worked on it every night and on weekends. Most traditional business plans feel like homework you can’t quite finish, even when you try. While you are working on it things change again. So what happens? You procrastinate. You stay stuck in “getting ready” mode instead of getting started.
But here’s the thing no one tells you:
You don’t need a complicated business plan.
You don’t even need a long one.
You need one thing: clarity.
Introducing the One-Page Business Plan
This is the approach I teach inside my programs—and the one I used to launch and grow my own business. It’s simple, practical, and something you can actually use today.
It’s built around five questions. That’s it. Five. And they will change everything. You can get more detail in the 5-Star Success Blueprint.
1. What are you doing?
What’s the core of your business? Are you offering a service, a product, an experience? Say it in plain language. Not “I help people align their energetic blueprint with their strategic purpose” (unless your audience talks like that). Say: “I help creatives launch their first offer.” Or, “I’m a brand designer for wellness entrepreneurs.” Or, “I write marketing copy for coaches.”
If you can’t describe what you do simply, your audience won’t get it—and they definitely won’t buy it.
2. Why are you doing it?
This is the emotional fuel behind your business. Maybe you’ve experienced the problem your offer solves. Maybe you’re passionate about helping people avoid the mistakes you made. Maybe you see a gap in your industry that no one else is addressing.
Your “why” doesn’t need to be poetic—it just needs to be real and it needs to be aligned with your vision. And it will help you stay grounded when the road gets bumpy (because spoiler alert: it will).
3. How are you doing this?
What’s your process or framework? How do you deliver your service? What makes your approach unique? This is where you begin to stand out. Even if 1,000 other people offer the same thing, no one else does it like you. Your Signature Growth System has to be clearly defined with the products and services you offer.
4. How will you find your clients?
This is the piece that trips a lot of people up. You’ve got the skills. You’ve got the passion. But if no one sees you, it doesn’t matter. Visibility is everything. So, how are you getting in front of your audience?
What’s your lead generation plan? Is it social media? Free workshops? Email campaigns? Classic funnels? Collaborate with others? Pick 1–2 methods that feel aligned, and focus your energy there.
5. What are you selling them?
Get specific. Don’t just say “I’m a coach” or “I’m an artist.” That’s what you are, not what you sell.
For example:
“I offer a 3-month creative mentorship program for burned-out entrepreneurs who want to reconnect with their passion and bring fresh energy to their work.”
That’s clear, outcome-driven, and way more compelling than just saying “I do coaching.”
This Plan Isn’t Just Simple—It’s Strategic
Now that you’ve got clarity, here’s where the magic happens: you take action.
This one-page plan becomes your compass. You test, refine, and evolve it. You talk to real people. You make real offers. You collect real data. You start building a real business.
This is the part most people skip. They stay in their head. They wait until it’s perfect. But business doesn’t reward perfection—it rewards movement.
A Super Simple Plan gets you moving.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
And if you’re reading this thinking, “Okay, this sounds doable—but I could use some guidance”, you’re in luck.
Because tomorrow, we begin our 8-week program: Turn Your Talent Into a Business
This is for creatives, coaches, strategists, and anyone sitting on a real skill—but struggling to package it, promote it, and profit from it. Don’t buy any internet marketing tactics like how to speak from stage, build a funnel, or get leads… None of this will do anything unless you know what your actual business model is and what problem you solve and for whom. And if it’s not connected to your soul, you are creating a job. That’s not why we are Entrepreneurs. You may as well make money with what you love to do.
Here are five reasons to join:
- You’ll finally get clear on what your business is, how to talk about it, and what makes it different.
- You won’t do it alone. With weekly live sessions and a community of peers, you’ll stay accountable and supported.
- You’ll turn your ideas into action. No more spinning—this program helps you create a real plan that works in only 8-weeks. You will walk away with a business model and a plan. Guaranteed.
- You’ll learn how to market and sell what you offer. We’ll show you how to message your value so clients say yes.
- You’ll be in a safe peer-to-peer space. This is a judgment-free zone where you can grow, share, and get honest feedback.
We take the big ideas and turn them into real results—without fluff, overwhelm, or trying to be someone you’re not.
This Is Your Moment
If you’ve been waiting for the right time, this is it.
