Beate Chelette in Starting to Know Podcast

In this episode with Ishu Singh, Beate shared how leadership skills can help you bring more impact to your business. Listen to the episode here.

Each January I select a word that will rule all my decision making for the year. After much contemplation, my word for 2018 is: IMPACT. It’s time to make a bigger impact by reaching more women and the businesses that support them. As my friend Pattie Grimm says: Let’s Kick Some Glass.

To make an impact, we need to collaborate with others. And that’s exactly what Pattie and I did.

Here are some of the topics we covered in the spirited interview:

  • Why do Millennial women believe inequality isn’t their problem?
  • What can men do in the wake of #MeToo?
  • Are men required to break the men’s code if they want to support women?

We are seeing a massive push toward equality and women are speaking up about what many of us have endured for decades.

As it was so eloquently put by Tarana Burke, founder of the ‘Me Too’ movement, “It’s not a moment. This is a movement.”
